International development, charity sector, NGOs
After graduating in Geography I joined Oxfam as a campaigner and have since worked for a range of human rights and development agencies including Christian Aid, International Alert and One World Action. I have worked and lived in Sri Lanka and India, and roles have spanned programme design and management; policy and lobbying; donor relations, fundraising and partnerships; and advocacy and public campaigning. I am currently Director of Advocacy with Marie Stopes International focusing on reproductive health and rights: https://mariestopes.org/what-we-do/our-approach/policy-and-advocacy/
I would be delighted to talk about careers in international development, human rights or politics.
