After Newnham, I undertook a cell biology research Ph.D. at the Institute of Cancer Research in London. My career since then has moved between research institutes and universities, took me to America and back, and now involves teaching undergraduates, running a cell biology research group, and training and mentoring postgraduates. I take part in the wider cell biology/biochemistry research community by serving on Journal Editorial Boards and reviewing grant applications. I am happy to discuss starting a biomedical science research career, navigating choice points and career stages, and any related topics. There are usually openings for student summer research projects in the lab. Please feel free to email me.
