Margaret Campbell

Margaret Campbell

I studied Modern and Medieval Languages at Newnham -French and German -and, much later in my career, learned Spanish when I began to work in Latin America.

After graduating, I did an MBA at Manchester Business School, specializing in Finance and Marketing and then joined JPMorgan in London where I worked as a banker for over 10 years before moving with my husband and young family to work at the Head Office in New York.

I began to work with Governments and Central Banks which involved travelling to Europe, Latin America and Australasia. Throughout my career I found my fluency in French, German and Spanish very useful.

After I retired from JPMorgan I spent three years as a Senior Advisor for HSBC in London and New York.

I am very happy to give general advice on careers in international banking, to share my experiences in working in many different countries and cultures and to comment on CVs.
